We grabbed a train down as the weather was beautiful and I love having the freedom to feed Mason on the journey in and out, rather than be stuck at the wheel.
We got to The School and I met up with the lovely Steph, Em and Elesha. It was brief but so incredibly rewarding. Not to mention I had won Little Tienda's giveaway and was picking up some of my goodies (a post on them soon!). I loved having the opportunity to meet like-minded women who I admire.
Mum and I lunched at Kitchen by Mike and we snuck a few treats in at Koskela. We walked back and caught the train home in time for dinner.
It was a fabulous way to kickstart mum's 2 months here with us. I'm looking forward to more train trips in with my mama and baby.
What a treat for you to have your mama here! And just in time for Christmas! I spent 2.5 years living in Canada and totally cherished the few times I got to see my parents. Enjoy! xo
ReplyDeleteThank you Libby! Oh yes. If there is any time of the year that family should be together, its right now! :)
Delete2 months! How beautiful!! It was such a delight to meet you and only wish we had more chance to chat. Blogging brings so many like minded souls together but it's a bit sad when we live so far away. Hope your weekend is gorgeous :) xx
ReplyDeleteIt is a shame we live far away but I have family in Brisbane so I figure we will be up that way some time soon! :) x
