SEVEN MONTHS


My sweet man turned 7 months this week. I know people say this all the time but every age Mason gets to is my new favourite age. He well and truly has a personality now and I love seeing bits of Luke and myself in this (not so tiny) human being.

He loves kids. I'm not sure if he realizes he's one of them or takes after me (I walked in to my first day of kindy convinced I was there to teach the rest of the kids). He smiles at them and always wants to touch their face. 

He has finally decided he loves the ocean. Much to Luke's delight, of course! Thanks to the warmer weather we've had the last few weeks, the lagoon near where we live is a favourite of Mason's. Sand intrigues him and he drives his little feet and hands into it with the oddest expression on his face!

We are so happy he is in our lives. 7 months in and most mornings, if he wasn't right there holding (see: POKING) my face, I would not believe my luck.

      It's odd isn't it? There are some days I long for him to go back to being the sleepy, 'doesnt do anything all day' baby that he was as a newborn but most of the time I am so happy watching him grow into his own little person! Mind you, that includes his flair for dramatics..
